I was an indie rock kid that got my start booking bands in college, and then moved on to cut my teeth writing and working for music and action sports publications such as Thrasher, Heckler, Venus Zine, Alternative Press, Seattle Weekly and Arthur Magazine. Six years ago, I moved back to my hometown of Nevada City, CA, started a record label, co-founded a multi-media project about "Everyday Women Doing Extraordinary Things for the Planet" along with a women's conference, helped launch the Nevada City Craft Fair, and took over one of the best indie film fests in the West. There are a bunch of other projects in between those, check out Projects under Pages for more info. Currently, I'm working on my first film, writing a book and launching a creative agency. Good times. On the weekends there is no other place I'd rather be than wandering around the hills, mountains, and canyons of California. This is my journal of what inspires me.
